Xinyi Fu

Introduction

Dr. Xinyi Fu received her Ph.D. in design from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University in 2018, and her bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University in 2012. She was a postdoctor at the Academy of Arts & Design, and now she is a research assistant professor at the Future Laboratory, Tsinghua University. Her main research interests are natural human-computer interaction, affective computing, and digital preservation of cultural heritage.

She has worked on many national projects such as the National Basic Research Program of China and Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. She has also visited the National University of Singapore (2013.10-2014.1) and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2016.1-2016.4). She is now a member of CSIG Affective Computing and Understanding Committee, an executive member of CCF Human-Computer Interaction Committee, a mentor of student interest team of Science and Technology Innovation Center of Tsinghua University, a member of editorial board and invited reviewer of Journal of Computer-Aided Design and Graphics, Conservation and Archaeological Science, Packaging Engineering, etc., a reviewer of ACM CHI International Conference, and the Publicity Chair of Chinese CHI International Conference. 

Her research interest is AI-Driven Intelligent Perception and Multi-modal Interaction in Human Living Space. She explores how to leverage cutting-edge AI technology to improve people's living experience and construct future smart home scenarios.
