Huirong Le (乐恢榕) 教授是清华大学未来实验室的副主任，未来材料与设计研究中心主任，从事纳米复合材料、多功能表面复合涂层、轻量化纤维增强复合材料、数字化制造等方面的研究。

乐教授八五年考入清华大学化学与化学工程系无机非金属材料专业，入选校级因材施教生，八九年获工学学士学位，并于九四年三月获工学博士学位。回归清华大学之前，曾于九六年前往英国萨里大学、剑桥大学工程系从事博士后研究工作，二OOO年在剑桥大学晋升为资深研究员；二OO五年起先后在英国邓迪大学、普利茅斯大学等高校任教。主持或参与过近二十项欧盟区域发展基金、英国工程与物理科学基金会、创新英国支持的研究项目，发表学术论文一百二十多篇。二O一五年三月，入选英国机械工程师学会（IMechE） 摩擦学分会常务理事；二O一八年七月，入选英国材料矿物采矿学会Fellow（FIMMM）；二O一八年十月，入选英国机械工程师学会Fellow（FIMechE）。
