M. Rauf is a distinguished scholar and researcher pursuing his PhD at the Future Lab of Tsinghua University. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020 and has been awarded a Master's and Doctoral scholarship by the Chinese Government in recognition of his academic excellence.
As a PhD candidate, M. Rauf's research is centred on the synthesis and applications of Geopolymer materials. His primary objective is to develop strong, cost-effective geopolymer concrete that supports net-zero CO2 emissions, contributing to sustainable construction solutions.
During his Master's studies, M. Rauf focused on the development and application of Ceramizable Silicone Rubber composites. His research aimed at enhancing the thermal and mechanical properties of silicone rubber by integrating ceramic characteristics. This innovative work contributed significantly to advancements in materials science.
In addition to his academic pursuits, M. Rauf has gained valuable industrial experience. His most recent role was at an Environmental Engineering company in Shanghai, where he was involved in industrial wastewater treatment, process design, and research and development.
M. Rauf's blend of academic rigour and practical industry experience positions him as a promising contributor to the fields of materials science and environmental engineering.
