Cheng-Yu (Carter) possesses 11 years of experience in product design and industrial manufacturing management and have led several projects for companies such as Lenovo, Toshiba and Sony to shorten product design time and promote changes to the process. These projects brought about astounding outcome and improved clients’ performance by 25 folds in three years. Cheng-Yu joined Microsoft in 2016. Later, he became a senior research program manager at Microsoft Asia Research Institute to work on groundbreaking AI application projects. With his past experience in various fields, Cheng-Yu now focuses on the integration of AI, transportation and telecommunication.
Cheng-Yu is now a PhD candidate in Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fu Jen Catholic University and an MBA degree from China Europe International Business School.
