The study hopes to uncover and gain insight into new interactions between older adults and future intelligent voice assistants through the lens of co-design. Participants will spend five days at home, using a design toolkit provided by the researcher, documenting "the content and scenarios of how you would like to communicate with a machine in a voice conversation" and co-designing the form and appearance of future intelligent voice assistants to explore the development of age-appropriate home voice assistants, as well as the design of whole-house voice systems.
