Based on the theory of participatory design, this project explores how to collaborate with older adults to join in design research activities. With the development of the aging society, the aging product design has received attention from many areas and the types of aging products on the market are also very rich. However, most products have not been welcomed by older adults, and these products did not really meet the older adults demands. This is because many researchers are unable to establish empathy with older adults and dig out their real problems. Therefore, this research hopes to propose a method model of participatory design activities with older adults through literature review, case analysis, and quantitative and qualitative analysis, so as to provide researchers with research on elderly users with methods and designs for cooperating with the elderly to participate in design research activities.

The workshop "Mobile Photo Studio Workshop" has been conducted in Nanjing and Beijing, and the content of the workshop has been published in KHCI2020 and HCII2020.

The workshop "The World Through the Lens" has been conducted, and the paper is being written.
