The aim of this joint proposal is to commission a review and analysis of citizen engagement in China and identify the best approach to engage China’s senior citizens in the development of products and services. To identify the best citizen engagement approach in China, we will gather data through a combination of desk research, interviews with stakeholders including people aged 55+, researchers, coordinators, and managers, etc., who have experience organising relevant activities, a survey with people aged 55+ and a workshop with stakeholders. We will conduct this investigation through 4 phases: Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver.

Progress

The project has now concluded the questionnaire, semi-structured interview and offline workshop phases, and is in the process of an online roundtable discussion session.
