Academia and industry are paying more and more attention to health interventions and management for the elderly, and most of the existing studies usually use motion-tracking technology to support the elderly to complete the exercise, such as smartwatches, wearable devices like smartphones with built-in sensors, depth cameras, etc. Application development is achieved using Kinect, etc., but Kinect limits the user to specific locations. Therefore, we use the iPhone rear camera for pose estimation and motion evaluation of human motion. We track, visualize and analyze the motion data through the AR Foundation framework on the unity development platform, and the results can be used to provide health guidance suggestions for the elderly. ARkit is easy to use at any time and any place with just an iPhone.
It is currently in the process of system iteration and exploration of new application scenarios.
