On April 8th，the Interest Team from CCYL Tsinghua University Committee visited Future Lab.

The team visited the Flavor Lab, Research Center for Perception and Consciousness, Research Center for Cultural Creative Design, and Future Materials Design Research Centre (FMD). Students observed the construction of olfactory information dataset from the Flavor Lab, touched composite materials and learned ceramic 3D printing from FMD.

In the discussion session, researchers gave lectures to introduce projects from centers mentioned above, the rich and exciting projects spanning multiple disciplines impressed the students. Students from the Interest Team said the visit broadened their horizons and helped them to understand cross-disciplinary research better.

The Future Lab materials team and design team applied 3D printing technology and cutting-edge materials to collaborate on a large number of prototypes. One of the most popular among the students was a model of the gate of Tsinghua University.
