Dr. Qi Lu is a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University's Future Laboratory and the group leader for olfactory interaction.
He led the development of the "OBean" line of electronic noses and ambient devices in the field of olfactory input hardware. The prototype development of the OBean I, OBean II, and OBean Mini enoses is now complete, and they are being tested in real-world scenarios. He has a few research publications in CADCG, TEI, and DIS, including a paper that received the honorable mention award in DIS2020. He has filed more than ten patent applications (three granted), and several major conferences and exhibitions have featured the relevant prototypes and works. His research project "Generalized Olfactory Computing and its Interface Design" was funded by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
Dr. Hongyang Su is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Future Lab, Tsinghua University. He received his Ph.D. degree at University of Science and Technology of China. During his PhD period, he visited Advanced Light Source at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a collaborated studuent sponsored by Chinese Scholarship Council. Now his research focuses on the reaction mechanism of chemical process and the evolution of material surface. He is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
