Recently, Future Laboratory was invited by School of Continuing Education, Tsinghua University to share the experience of cutting-edge new materials and organize a visit to the Future Lab with the backbone leading enterprises of advanced materials organized by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province. Professor Huirong Le, the Principal Researcher of the lab and Director of Research Center for Future Materials Design, gave a keynote speech on "Preparation of nanocomposites and their industrial applications". The event invited the leaders of the backbone enterprises of new materials from Guangdong province to learn more about the current frontier scientific research development and to promote cooperation among industry, academia, and the research field.
During the lecture, Prof. Huirong Le mentioned that nanocomposites have a wide variety of applications and use. The material bending and morphology need to be pre-designed according to the use requirements and environment and then matched with suitable preparation methods. Research should not only produce scientific results but also be implemented into application scenarios, bringing new solutions and markets to the industry.
